Artist in Residence; Catherine Mudford

Hello!
This week saw the much anticipated arrival of one of our Artists in Residence, American-British knitwear designer and Central Saint Martins student, Catherine Mudford.
Catherine arrived in Vienna to participate in the Quartier21 AiR programme and will be working on creating a knitwear collection which will be showcased as part of the 'Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!' New Designer Showcase which is included in our active side programme.
Studio 713 has been transformed into a woolly emporium where Catherine will be experimenting with the traditional craft of knit, contemporary knitwear design and concept development of her project. She is also a member of Team Fish and Chips so shall be helping out with the exhibition and using Vienna as her creative base.
Paparazzi style, we paid her a visit in her studio to check out what she is working on so check out our latest photos!

Fish and Chips Billboard!

Hello from Fish and Chips HQ!
Imagine our excitement when walking through the sunny MQ Wien when we spotted that our much anticipated free standing billboard advertising the exhibition has arrived!
It features our official 'Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!' image that represents a collaboration between a selection of our contributing creatives. Involved in the shoot were photographers Matthew Brindle and Thom Will and stylist Alexis Knox. It features pieces from our designers; Louise Gray, Emma Bell, Scott Ramsay Kyle and Nicholas Kirkwood.
We especially loved it when we spotted people taking pictures of the board!
