VIP Afterparty at Le Meridien!

Big Hello from Fish and Chips HQ!
It's been exciting times since the opening of 'Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!'....epic numbers of people through the doors and a great response from visitors and media! Since the opening we have presented several special features from talks and discussions as part of the accompanying programme!
Following our official launch at the gallery on June 10th we also hosted our exclusive afterparty at Le Meridien which was great fun! Guests were offered fish and chips, candyfloss, popcorn and special pink drinks and we had Christian Candid of Klein Records/ Pling Plong Klub and Tingel Tangel DJs throwing out the tunes! Fish and Chips is OPEN!!!

Hello from the World of Fish and Chips!
So after 6 months of planning and development, contemporary fashion exhibition, 'Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!' finally opened it's doors to the public on Thursday 10th June 2010.
With the entrance decked out in Union Jack flags, curators Emma Bell and Polona Dolzan unveiled their concept at the freiraum quartier21 INTERNATIONAL in the MuseumsQuartier Wien.
The space was transformed into a platform for design and multi-media talent hailing from London complete with a mammoth theatre featuring fashion film, a tea party of shoes and an array of pieces from the industry's most fashion forward designers.
Post official press conference, followed an epic footfall at the gallery opening featuring MegaMegaMega DJs and a durational performance from Riitta Ikonen. Our official hotel partner, Le Meridien hosted our official afterparty seeing guests feasting on cupcakes and fish and chips to the sounds of Christian Candid of Klein Records and Pling Plong Klub as well as the Tingel Tangel DJs.
Team Fish and Chips have since spent the weekend recovering after the past few months as well as hosting a string of our contributors that jetted into Vienna from London for the opening. Keep an eye out for our official photos coming soon!

Photographer Thom Will comes to Town!!!

Hello from Fish and Chips HQ!
With 23 days and counting till the launch of 'Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!' things are getting super exciting here at HQ!!! Last week saw the arrival of one of our amazing contributors, Thom Will, to work on an exclusive photoshoot here in the MuseumsQuartier Wien as well as support the Fish and Chips Team. British photographer and part of the MegaMegaMega duo over in London jetted into Vienna where our team of both British and Austrian counterparts collaborated to create a shoot featuring an array of incredible garments from our featured designers.
Thom is a London based photographer with a background in PR and his work has been featured in international publications including; The Independent, Indie Magazine, VICE and Soy Victim Mexico.
