Photos Julia Aßl and Elisabeth Hajek
Greetings from the World of Fish and Chips!
On Monday 21st of June 'Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!' hosted a highly anticipated feature of the accompanying programme, a discussion based on the topic- 'London as a Hub for Fresh Fashion Talent.'
The discussion was chaired by Prof. Alison J Clarke (University of Applied Arts Vienna) and featured Oriole Cullen (Victoria and Albert Museum, London) and Klaus Muehlbauer (Muehlbauer Headwear and Fashion, Vienna) as participants.
Great discussion covering an array of topics ranging from multi-cultural presence in contemporary industry, to emerging talent and support avenues in both the UK and Austria, to the influence of blogging and online phenomenon. Visitors were offered the opportunity to become involved with the discussion and the event was followed by a lovely dinner in the MuseumsQuartier Wien attended by our wonderful speakers, Fish and Chips Team, quartier21 representatives and current Artist in Residents.
We will be making the full transcript of this programme feature available very soon so watch this space!
Love,
Team Fish and Chips
